Powers: Red Mage: using her focus and rapier she is able to use both black and white magic, as well as regular and enchanted sword attacks. A full list of the Red Mage abilities can be found here. Being level 90 at the point she is pulled from she would know all of a RDM's abilities.
Familiar Summon: Alisaie is able to summon a porxie-shaped familiar named Angelo. She can channel large quantities of aether (energy) into Angelo and then use it to rebalance another's aether, which breaks a primal's (magical beings worshipped by the beast tribes) control over another - a state known as being tempered.

What is your character best at, and how do they feel about that?
Like her brother, Alisaie is a prodigy when it comes to school and magic, but where her brother is naturally gifted in the spoken word and lively debate, she leans more towards the physical with her gifts. She is a skilled swimmer and fencer, which she lords the former over her brother with great relish when given the opportunity. When it comes to things she is well versed in, Alisaie isn't too shy to let others know it.

In canon, what does your character fail at? What are the consequences of that failure?
There have been a few times that Alisaie has failed to successfully protect others, the consequences being their deaths. One of her first experiences was a situation out of her control. While working as a bodyguard to a merchant caravan, a mudslide took out a number of the wagons, including the one with Emery, the young woman who had recruited her and she had befriended. Fate had found Alisaie at the front of the caravan, and so she escaped without a scratch.

Once the remainder of the caravan had reached the next town she departed, and went back to traveling alone. She kept people at a distance, refusing to get close to another, and traveled in loneliness not know what her purpose was. It wouldn't be until she heard rumors about the work of the Scions and Primal activity that Alisaie would find a reason to act again and begin taking steps forward once more.

A second instance happens some time later, after Alisaie's soul has been taken to the First. She would again take on the job of sellsword and guard, fighting against sin eater attacks, before she came across the Inn at Journey's Head. There those who had become light-afflicted after being attacked by a sin eater could live out the rest of their mortal life and when the time came, enjoy a last meal that would kill them before they transformed into sin eaters themselves.

Alisaie befriends Tesleen, one of the head carers at the Inn, and works with her to help her cause. Corrupted children wanders off, Tesleen, Alisaie, and the Warrior of Light, go looking for him and Tesleen is turned into a sin eater while trying to protect the child. Alisaie is horrified and devastated at witnessing the transformation, and laments not being able to protect her. While she does fall into a similarly jaded and broken mindset, like she did with the Emery's death, this time Alisaie channels those emotions into working with the other Scions and the Exarch to put a stop to the sin eaters, and bring balance to the First.

What does your character want most in the world?
Peace, as cliché as it sounds, but more so in the sense of major, world ending types of conflicts. For only being sixteen, Alisaie has seen a lot of horror and death, including people transforming into grotesque monstrosities. She has been to end of the Universe, and gave up everything she was and had to give the Warrior of Light the chance to save the day.

What is your character most afraid of?
Losing the ability to help others, especially those she cares for. The moments she shows the most emotion, truly bares her heart open for all those near to see, is when she feels she is unable to help others. Whenever she has witnessed the death of someone she cares for, the memory etches itself into her heart, and it helps push her forward, to continue to fight even in the face of despair. As long as she can raise her sword to protect others she can face death and loss, even her own.

How would your character react to a deep betrayal from the person they care about the most?
If Alisaie were to be betrayed by her brother, Alphinaud, she would find it impossible to believe. Not only is he her brother, but her twin, and no one knows the other better than each other. She would look for any and all reasons why he would do such a thing, wanting to believe that someone or something is forcing his hand, taken over his appearance or just anything that would allow for reasonable doubt.

It would take all of their mutual friends to convince her of his betrayal, and even then she would most likely still not fully believe it possible. For if Alphinaud were to betray her, betray their friends and family, it would mean she no longer truly knew him and in turn make her second guess if she knows anyone she holds dear, or even herself. Regardless of what the betrayal was, Alisaie would eventually find the power within herself to take action and stop at nothing to make things right.

Unless it involves killing him. That is the one thing she would never be able to do, no matter how grievous his crime or deep his betrayal. And the same would go for any of their friends.

Where does your character see themselves in five years?
Alisaie's late grandfather Louisoix and his deeds have always been a source of inspiration for her, and while she once viewed the Grand Companies and politics of Eorzea with disdain, she has come to better understand their purpose and how to navigate through them to help improve the lives of the common folk. Barring any other world ending calamities, Alisaie would continue working with her brother to help heal the wounds left in the wake of the Final Days. The first couple of years would most like find her focused on assisting Alphinaud and the Garleans to foster new trade agreements with neighboring regions while helping rebuild the capital's infrastructure.

Of course, should any other dark forces come to the forefront, and threaten that newly found peace, Alisaie would be one of the first to pick up her sword and leap into battle.
